Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve - Natural Park of Torre Guaceto Ostuni Italy. This outstanding marine and land reserve is well worth a visit during your stay in Ostuni. It is less than 15 miles east, towards Brindisi, a nice easy drive.

The land part of the reserve has various natural habitats starting from local farm land through old olive groves to the wild dunes covered in grass and trees, a haven for the local wildlife. The beach is made of fine sand and completely left to nature, so fishing, fires, boats and vehicles are banned. Much of the dune system is fenced to protect it, but there are paths through to the hinterland so you can enjoy a stroll, or follow the beach to the old tower, the "Torre Guaceto".

The marine reserve also flourishes with the clean and clear waters allowing an abundance of sea life including corals.
